ToJo St. Louis was founded in 2016 with the idea of helping small businesses and non-profits tell their video story at a reasonable cost. Co-Owners Jay Johnson and Trevor Oster share a business goal of creative, high quality video that anyone can afford. Both men have outstanding creative talents, Jay as an editor and Trevor as a cameraman, that dovetail nicely for their clients. From local retail shops and services to larger trade associations, ToJo St. Louis is eager to be your video partner.
To - Trevor Oster

Director of Photography and Co-Owner Trevor Oster grew up on the hard streets of St. Charles, MO, before studying filmmaking at Full Sail University in Florida. He moved back to St. Charles after graduation and has been working on local TV and film productions for over a decade. In between shoots he's busy working on his ever-changing "Top 100 Movies of all Time" list.
In 2017, with encouragement from his friends and family, Trevor co-founded ToJo St. Louis. In his free time you might find Trevor enjoying an IPA and watching a Scorsese flick with his wifey, Stefanie. Or, you may find him coaching a Saturday basketball game for his three sons when he's not chasing after his 2 beagles.
Jo - Jay Johnson

Editor and Co-Owner Jay Johnson spent his early years far away in a rural part of Southern Illinois (may have referred to him as a "flatlander"). He managed to teach himself to drive at the age of 14 to get out of the house, then ended up getting a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications at SIU-Edwardsville.
Shortly before co-founding ToJo St. Louis he scored a Master’s Degree in Communications Management from Webster University. Overly educated and still a hell of a driver, Jay has been producing and editing award winning video for over 20 years in the St. Louis area. Free time for Jay includes spending time with his family of brothers, adventures with friends and traveling when his pocket change permits. Whiskey and red wine are also cool, and luckily he lives in walking distance to a great wine bar!
